Also, I believe I have found the initials of John D. Lee carved into some red sandstone in southern Utah. The "J" was quite distinctive, so I would like to compare it to copies of his signature for verification. Any ideas where I might find his signature on line?

He told me about a site in southern Missouri where markings could be found on rocks on a ledge.
We went down there for a day and after getting permission to search he showed me a rock ledge that had many x's, anchor shapes, numbers like 7, 2, 4.
