Spanish silver bar found in the Uinta Mountains?

Post Number:#1  Postby Deadeye008 » Thu Jan 20, 2011 11:17 am

I was checking out a site that said a silver bar was found in the Uinta Mountians(Hoyt's Peak) in the 1950's. The site has pictures of it and even evidence linking the marks on it with marks found on the gold and silver bars from the Atocha. Does anyone have any other info on this silver bar? I tried searching all over the place and can't find anything. Thanks.

Maybe that's why Mel Fisher came here to Utah after he discovered the Atocha...

Right on!

That is the speculation. Supposedly, Mel Fisher's son found several silver bars a few years ago... at least that is one of the rumors.

I do have my doubts about any silver bar ever being found at the Hoyt. Now in Steve Shaffer's book Of Mena and Gold Young supposedly found a bar and or bars before he sit the explosion off that collapsed the whole works. Yes here he finds a silver bar and he has to know it is heavy. He has to see that it is black with tarnish. What does he do right after he reaches around the door and craps this bar? He goes ahead and sets the explosion off. Now how does this make any since at all? Now later after Young is dead they interivew his son and ask him about a silver bar. His responce is that he does not know anything about a silver bar. Now how does this make any since? It might just about register as Sanpet says. Total BS!

Now for the Fisher story Mel supposedly came out here thinking that all of the gold on board the Attocia came directly here from Utah. Supposedly found somekind of map. Then he supposedly studied it and he came up with Utah as the place. This person could go anywhere in the world he wanted to go to search for gold and silver but he comes to Utah. Found some silver? Posssible enought to fly a helicopter out loaded plum full of silver. This is my belief. Might have happened in the area of Kidney Lake.

Yes, this is the site I was referring to. I had never heard of anyone finding a silver bar here in Utah nor can I find any other info than that listed on this site.

I done did see a silver bar one time that supposedly came out of the Uintas. I know full well I am not the only one who saw this. It was framed. It was silver with a few markings on it. We all see any amout of gold bars in the books. I think George Thompson has many pictures in his books. Well you guys had to know that George did see a big pile of Gold Bars. This is the reason he outright says that Caleb did not bring raw gold back to the church. Well there was not any antiquity laws back in that time period and it is my belief that if Caleb had brought back gold bars they would have just came out and said so. What would they have been trying to hide?

The Utes knew full well of George Thompson's activities in the Uintas. Hell they shot at him and they know it. Lets see here there Utes. You done did threaten his life didn't you? I know all about it. You tell White hair that the next time we will shoot on site. Didn't tell me but certainly another. I wonder where that happened at Utes? Makes you wonder if I just might know. Well you know that I never do trespass so don't go to wondering to where you can not sleep any. I do not go on the reservation other than to cross it legally.

I once saw a picture of a guy holding a gold bar. No face but just his hand and or both hands holding on to the bar. Yea a good friened of this guy was flashing the picture all around. Talk like that and someone gets into big time trouble. He very well knows. I have heard of other stories like this also. You go to flashing stuff around and the word spreads like wildfire. Next thing you know the Feds are knocking on your door wanting to see the same bar. You got problems then!

Now if you are looking for the information that silver bars are in the Uintas you might want to study The Mine of the Virgin Silver. Then the famous Lost Rhoades Mine which is also the Lost Josephine and the Carrie-Shinob you can look at the Garcia Waybill and see that they hacked off slabs of virgin silver that weighted up to 100 pounds and stacked them right in the Garcia Treasure room.

Enough said

I was able to find a little bit of information about this silver bar. It was found by a man from Provo referred to as "The Bishop". He was a friend of the Utes and the medicine man told him the location of a massacre. At the sight he found a cannonball, a spur, and several gold and silver bars.

Yes, I know Dale. He is the one that gave me the info on the silver bar. He mentioned that he never met the bishop and now never will since he has passed away. Would be interesting to see all of those artifacts the bishop had.

I am not going to pull out Dale's book but I think that Dale bought the map that I am most concerned about from the Bishop. I think that is how the story went. Maybe it was the Bishop that gave the story on the Sacred Mine also. I always figured it was and or had to be a Ute Indian who entered the Sacred Mine which in this story has to be the Josephine, Carrie-Shinob, The Mine of the Yutas and the Lost Rhoades Mine althought there is a couple of mines there just as the map shows one being the Sacred Mine # 2 and the other being the BYM. What do you think there Utes? Possible 7 mines and or the 7 Cities? Yea, I know!

I tried to talk to Dale concerning weather and or not the Bishop was a Ute but he would never tall me anything concerning the individual. Said he did not know but then he supposedly bought the map and gave money to a indivudal for it. I think him and his son is the sotry. Who ever Dale got that map from certainly knew something about the mines and that is a fact. This indivual did put all of the stuff that made no difference down on the map. This is not in any way true concerning the location being at the Paradise area.

I dought if Mel Fisher came on land even with a map ,he would be able to find anything as most maps are coded, the way they hunt is through history books and research to find the last locations of the known ships and work away from there with side sonar in the water. thats a whole different way of treasure hunting than we deal with on land, of course I believe the map would indeed indicate the basic location such as utah, but thats as far as they will ever get on that one with their limited knowledge , hunting treasure on land is a whole different ball of wax than in water.

You have to be able to read the signs on land if you can even see them to begin with , then know their meanings or you will just spin in circles for days or years ect ect, I dought Mel found a single coin on land. unless he found someone well seasoned to help him thats hunted on land before.

Mel came out here hoping for the best. Maybe he found what he wanted to find but he never found the Carrie. Now you got to know that George Thompson and the others where not about to say anything that they really knew. Just how would that have helped them in any kind of way?

Now Mel already had all of the money he would ever need for the rest of his life. The others had not made the headlines as of yet. Some may have been able to do the same as Mel. Then to they problabley did not have the connections that Mel would have had. So we tell Mel and he will give us a big cut. Well maybe! Then what if he just runs off with everything. How do I play into this game. I give and he takes! Posssilbly! I think not!

Caleb thought he was on the inside also but then he was smarter than our good old good Uncle. I like that. Of course Hathenbrock might have seen it all and knew full well that our good government could not be trusted even just a little bittty bit! Good thinking.

So it was a game when Mel was her with lots of drinking and parting. They probley all enjoyed each others company.
It may have been posssible that if anyone would have told Mel just what they knew and or thought that Mel could have taken his electronic gear and his helcopter and actually located the Mother Load. But then we got Sanpet who says that our good government has done that and nothing was ever located. Then I am also saying that literly standing near about on the Mother Load my dowser could not dowse a thing. Blew my mind! Yet here he can dowse the other 4 mines here at Cibola. I know it does not jive but I know my dowser. Someway he was either scared and or God did not give him the ability and or i just do not know what. I will always question just why this is. I have given it much thought.

Well anyway so so.

Sanpet that is a great thought. Only one big problem with all of it. The government is not going to give me one dam dime. Then Sanpet would you want to give the Ark away to our governemnet? Would you want to give the word of our God away? Would you want to give away Montezuma's Treasure to our governement?

Yea Sanpet, the movie National Treasure does have a little bit of BS in it. My good old uncle is not going to buy me any mansion nor are they going to give me a sports car. Nor is anyone going to see any of this treasure if it is ever given away to our governement. What they will do is spend a hell of a lot more and forget about paying any of our debt. Crooks will laugh at me for being so stupid!

Sanpet I have to believe their full intentions are to bankrupt this country. No one can tell me they are completly stupid. Smebody there has to have a little bit of common since. So that only leaves their plan. They are going at it good and we are just about over now. Any morning we will wake up in a new world. Then everyone will say they had no idea and or we would have revolted.

So now Sanpet what did you have buried under your tree that lightening hit it?

Here again Sanpet why would I turst my governement with all of the Treasure and most certainly why would anyone trust our governemnt with the Ark of Covenant and the word of our God.

Now I know this place is not for this kind of talk. But then we are talking about Spanish Artifacts. This is talking about silver bars and the Carrie-Shinob just so happens to have just a little bit of this type of Treasure there also.
So now Sanpet you got the know on where this treasure is at. You going to turn it over to our good government?

Interesting stuff and completely believeable. Now I'm not one of those die hard Bush fans, nor am I a die hard Obama fan. Both have good points and bad pints, justas every normal human being. It is funny though how the deportation rate initially dropped tremendously once obama took office. Im not sure where it's at now, havent researched that recently. Itall makes sense though and I hate that there is always actions done to prove an individuals argument one way or the other. I HATE that, but still doesn't make me hate the government.
